How we teach
How we teach
We like to teach by doing. We spend all our time in our professionally equipped workshops where we turn spanners, weld, chop, cut, make and fix things; its hands on learning all the way. We’ve minimised the theory and maximised fun practical tasks. We use digital tablet computers to evidence your learning through videos, pictures, audio recordings, and almost all our assignments are almost entirely practical!

SAFEGUARDING
Keeping our learners safe
At the Avalon project we take our moral and statutory responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of our learners seriously.
We work hard to ensure a safe and welcoming environment where our young people are respected and valued. All of our staff receive regular safeguarding training so they can recognise and respond to any signs of abuse and neglect, we have robust safeguarding procedures and policy to ensure that our young poeple rceive effective support and protection.
